Long-Term Involvement

In a separate blog post, I detailed many ways to get involved within your community, some through organizations and some individually. Although there are many ways to volunteer and make a difference, another idea is to get involved long-term. I am on the Seattle Holocaust Center's Student Leadership Board, and it is a perfect way to get involved. Taking a leadership role can help you make more of a difference in your community. It's a great way to learn leadership, make new friends, and exact lasting change. Look to your local government or organizations for opportunities, and look to sign up now! It's very rewarding!
